Tea Duelling

Kelly of  The Nerdyheard Steampunk gas mask!   Talented seamstress and milliner Lady Chatsalot with her lovely selfmade hat, belt and skirt. She has a minitaure teapot and tea strainer hanging from her belt That hat! Lisa, another one of the organisers. Lisa of  The Nerdyheard Yasmin and I I loved these girls' outfits, they looked like dolls! This man's cloak was awesome! This man was the winner of the Tea Duelling at Steamfest. I was glad that when I was beaten in the second round, it was by a champion. He ended up coming second. Duelling my friend Emma. Our dresses  go together so nicely! Kathleen and Yasmin duel. Francesca's outfit was so beautiful!

Morrigon, Clothing for the Dark Muse show at The Australian Paranormal and Spiritual Expo

  Kylie Allerton, a very talented friend of mine is a designer of her own label,Morrigon, Clothing for the Dark Muse. On Saturday the 21st of September, I attended the Australian Paranormal and Spiritual Expo where I was part of her fashion show. It was more of a performance piece, really, themed aroudn an evil, undead circus, and the innocent maiden who was lured in. We got to wear some of Kylie's amazing designs, and had a great time! My absolutely gorgeous bestie, Kat! Nicola, as the Innocent Maiden. She is so sweet! I also met Scarlett, who was the Ringmistress.   Dij was a creepy clown. Steamfest Australia 2013

  Steamfest Australia 2013  (Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th August, Ipswich Racecourse) The Newcastle Steampunks- my friends Stacey, Mardo, Yasmin and I. A steam train. Unfortunately we did not get a chance to ride on it, but we did get to choke on its fumes everytime it went by the stage area, a nice reminder of why some progress is a very good thing. Stacey made my gown, too, she is very talented! The gorgeous parasol Stacey covered.  The lovely Cyndy Kitt of  Cyndy Kitt Productions  with her amazingly lifelike parrot. As someone who owns a bird, I have to say, it was uncannily real, the way it moved, the way it looked at you.
